Editorial. Microsoft Spain has announced the appointment of Fernando Valiño as the new director of the public sector starting next September. Valiño replaces Natalia Escobedo in the position, who will begin a new professional stage outside the company after five years leading the area. The new public sector director has extensive experience at Microsoft Spain, where he currently leads the Regional Government and Healthcare area. Before joining the company, Valiño developed his career at Gartner, where he held various leadership positions, and at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a company where he specialized in IT services, outsourcing, infrastructure operations, and digital transformation projects for the public sector.
