Auckland, 14th July 2026, pAI² - a social impact technology company - has appointed Nicki Raistrick as Chief Executive, marking an important step in the group’s next phase of growth and impact across New Zealand. The pAI² group includes Mycare, New Zealand’s leading online marketplace for in-home care, connecting people and whānau with trusted local support workers; Te Heke Mai, a fully integrated digital coaching and career support platform that helps people set goals, build CVs and cover letters, prepare for interviews and stay on track in work, training and job search; and Care Possible, a Canadian online platform connecting qualified and verified care providers with the individuals and families who need them.
pAI² platforms enable communities to organise themselves to provide care, support and employment, shifting from a traditional provider-led model to one where people direct their own support and draw it from their local communities. Using a flexible, cloud-based platform, pAI² creates digital marketplaces that connect people directly with the support they need, from home-based care through to employment support. That shift, from a traditional provider-centric model to a client-centric one, is what sets pAI² apart. Its platforms enable communities to organise themselves, connecting people directly with the help, care and work they need locally.
People stay in control, choosing who supports them, when and how. Support and employment opportunities are generated from within their local communities rather than delivered by an external provider. Nicki brings more than twenty years of leadership in technology and transformation, with a career spanning banking, energy and telecommunications. Most recently, she served as General Manager, Digital Delivery at Vector, where she led a portfolio of major programmes including ERP modernisation, Advanced Distribution Management System transformation, and the separation of Vector’s Metering and OnGas businesses.
Prior to that, she held senior delivery and transformation roles at Kiwibank, covering regulatory change, digital platform delivery, and a board-approved risk transformation programme. She also runs Innovate & Transform, her own consultancy working with executives on enterprise transformation. Her appointment reflects a strong alignment between personal values and organisational purpose. Nicki was drawn to pAI² because of its commitment to putting people in control of their own support and creating better outcomes for New Zealanders. Says Nicki, “What drew me to pAI² is the model itself.
We are moving away from a world where people are slotted into whatever care or employment service happens to be available, towards one where they direct their own support and find it from within their own communities. That is a meaningful change in how care and work happen in this country, and it is why I wanted to lead this group.
