Global marketing and branding specialist Ogilvy has promoted Yong Yuan to Chief Executive Officer of its China business. Previously President of the firm’s Advertising practice in China, Yuan now will oversee Ogilvy’s strategic direction, growth and operations in the Chinese market. His remit includes growing the firm’s labels (including Ogilvy Consulting and Grey), deepening Ogilvy’s key capabilities in areas such as advertising, digital experience, advisory, social, influence and public relations, and supporting the team with development opportunities.
Yuan is a seasoned marketing leader with deep expertise in brand building, client development and people leadership. He has been with Ogilvy for 15 years. “I’m honored to take on this role and deeply grateful for the trust placed in me,” he said.
