Solar energy specialist BELECTRIC UK, part of the Elevion Group, has appointed Daniel Kiremidjian as chief executive. Daniel joins with extensive experience in renewable energy and battery storage, having previously led development and commercial teams across the UK, Sweden and Finland. He succeeds former chief financial officer and managing director Alastair Bruce, while Mariglen Nora, a member of the BELECTRIC board, becomes the company’s new managing director. In his new role, Daniel will lead BELECTRIC UK’s delivery of large-scale solar and battery storage projects, overseeing engineering, construction, operation and maintenance activities across the business.
Daniel said: “I’m very excited to be joining the business at such a pivotal moment, as the UK mission to achieve net-zero continues to accelerate. “I want to be part of a team which can really make a difference, and which thinks beyond day-to-day operations to always innovate and improve. “Now is the time to deliver the next generation of solar and battery projects. ” Daniel's appointment reflects BELECTRIC UK’s continued investment in its leadership team, strengthening the business as it expands its role in delivering large-scale renewable energy and battery storage projects across the UK.
