Former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel, has approved the appointment of a former bank executive, Dr. Babatunde Onadeko, as the Executive Secretary of the Gateway Front Foundation, alongside veteran physician, Dr. Bankole Adegboyega Osisanya, as the Foundation’s Chief Medical Consultant. The appointments, announced in a statement issued by the OGD Media Office on Saturday, are aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of the Foundation and enhancing the delivery of its humanitarian, healthcare, educational and community development programmes.

According to the statement, Daniel said the appointments reflected his commitment to repositioning the Foundation through the engagement of professionals with proven records in leadership, administration and public service. Onadeko, a former South-West Zonal Head of First City Monument Bank, holds a Master’s degree in Finance and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Babcock University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Enterprise Risk Professionals, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors, and an alumnus of the London School of Business and Finance.

The statement added that he currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Veritas Glanvills Pensions, where he contributes to corporate governance and institutional development. It expressed confidence that his experience in finance, strategic management and administration would support the Foundation’s vision and long-term objectives. The Foundation also named Osisanya, a medical practitioner with more than 40 years of experience, as its Chief Medical Consultant. A native of Ijebu-Ode, Osisanya studied Physiology at the University of Ibadan before obtaining his medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos.

He previously served at State Hospital, Ijebu-Ode, General Hospital, Ibiade, and General Hospital, Ijebu-Ife, before establishing Ebun Ola Hospital in Ibiade and Ijebu Imusin in 1990.
