This transaction unites one of the world's leading investors in the health and consumer sector with one of the most globally recognized independent vitamin, mineral, and supplement companies, creating a platform for accelerated international growth," reads the statement issued by Bain Capital. The investment firm has reported that there will be no immediate changes to the daily operations of the vitamin company, with the United Kingdom as its main market, but also with a focus on its international expansion, which is why Bain Capital's private equity team in Asia will lead the international business, especially due to its presence in India.
The transaction is subject to customary market conditions, and Rothschild has acted as exclusive corporate finance advisor to Bain Capital, while Houlihan Lokey has been the financial advisor to the selling party.
