, Aug. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Synaptics® Incorporated (Nasdaq: SYNA ) today announced that Ken Rizvi has resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, to pursue another opportunity. Mr. Rizvi will remain employed in an advisory role through September 30, 2026 to assist with the transition of his responsibilities. Synaptics has elected not to conduct a search at this time for a successor CFO due to the announcement on June 25, 2026 of the pending merger between Synaptics and onsemi. Rahul Patel, President and CEO, will serve as the principal financial officer through the closing of the merger.

Mr. Kermit Nolan, Synaptics' former Chief Accounting Officer, is returning as a consultant to advise the internal team through the transition.
