The French glassmaker – 243 employees –, located in the Loiret region, underwent several searches of its premises in September. In receivership since June 1, the company is well acquainted with commercial courts, having already been subject to four collective proceedings in twenty years. Three takeover bids have been submitted: the first by the Saint-Étienne-based group Carlesimo, the second by Cédric Meston's holding company Tomé, and the last by the Hong Kong company AA Investments. The Orléans Commercial Court must now examine the offers in the coming weeks.

Syria has experienced one of the most significant popular uprisings in recent days since the fall of Bashar al-Assad. The cause: the unprecedented and sudden increase in the price of a liter of diesel. It rose overnight from 125 to 175 new Syrian pounds, an increase of 40%. A 40% increase that is not well received by a population, 90% of which lives below the poverty line. One of the most anticipated IPOs of the year, if not the most anticipated, will not take place in 2026.

The reason: recent controversies over AI security, which Sam Altman is addressing. "It would be a bad time to go public," he states, and OpenAI "still has a lot to do." The group had nevertheless submitted its listing documents to the American authorities, with a targeted valuation close to 1 trillion dollars. The operation would therefore be postponed until 2027 at the earliest. Its American competitor Anthropic, on the other hand, would maintain its listing this year, giving it a head start on its rival. 75 and 4%, a threshold contrary to Donald Trump's statements, who called for rates to be brought down to "1% or less."
