America First Federal Credit Union and Greater Nevada Credit Union announced on Monday that they have entered into a merger agreement. “Our mission has always been to improve the financial well-being of our members and strengthen the communities we serve,” said Greater Nevada Credit Union President and CEO Danny DeLaRosa. 6 million members through 135 branch locations, including 39 in Nevada, with more than $26 billion in assets. The merger is subject to customary regulatory requirements and approvals and is expected to be completed in late 2026.

Upon completion of the merger, GNCU will operate as Greater Nevada: A Division of America First Credit Union. All Greater Nevada branches will remain open and staffed by current employees. Members will continue to have access to the branches, products and services they use today. The merger will strengthen America First’s ability to serve members throughout Nevada while preserving the local relationships and community commitment that have long defined both credit unions.
