Brisbane Airport has secured Brisbane’s first Costco warehouse, set to open in late 2029. The airport is developing a new 51-hectare parcel of land, centrally located and directly opposite the International Terminal. 7-hectares of the precinct, featuring a 15,600sqm warehouse and fuel station. This will be Costco’s first location in Brisbane and the fourth store in Queensland. Brisbane Airport CEO Gert-Jan de Graaff says Costco will be a popular drawcard for the new precinct. “Costco’s commitment marks the beginning of a new chapter for Brisbane Airport and is the first of many announcements to come as we bring to life a new mixed-use precinct for the city,” he says.
