Employees will work in various departments, such as ticket sellers and takers, parking and Park & Ride attendants, barn attendants, custodians and more during the 12-day run. The 2026 State Fair runs from Thursday, Aug. 27, through Labor Day, Sept. 7. Applicants interested in fair-time employment can also visit the Employment Center between now and the fair for employment opportunities. Jobs are open to anyone 16 and older, resumes are not needed and applicants offered a position will be asked to complete a background check.
