Schuchart has appointed Jeff Tobin as chief operating officer, returning an experienced executive to the company's leadership team as it continues to strengthen operations and support future growth initiatives. Tobin rejoined the Seattle-based general contractor in July after previously serving as chief operating officer before leaving the company in 2022. Tobin originally joined Schuchart in 2012 as a division manager before advancing to vice president of operations and later chief operating officer. In his renewed role, he will oversee operational performance, organizational development and companywide growth initiatives.
His construction career spans more than two decades and includes experience in residential construction, carpentry, facilities management and executive leadership. Throughout his career, he has led complex projects while focusing on operational improvements and team development. In addition to operational leadership, Tobin has been involved in workforce development initiatives across Washington's construction industry. He helped launch the CORE PLUS Construction Program through the AGC of Washington Education Foundation, which introduces high school students to construction careers through career and technical education programs.
