2026 – Uber is pleased to announce its new partnership with FC Lugano, becoming the club's mobility partner. The agreement offers Bianconeri fans an additional, simple, and flexible mobility option for arriving at and departing from the AIL Arena on match days – especially in an area with limited parking and nearby construction sites. To facilitate travel on match days, Uber will provide a promo code for each FC Lugano home game at the AIL Arena, valid for up to 250 people (up to 2 discounted rides per person). Details and instructions for redeeming the promo code will be communicated directly to fans by FC Lugano via newsletter before each home game.

On match days, a special pick-up and drop-off zone will be set up on Via Ciani, directly next to the AIL Arena. Fans can thus arrive at and depart from the immediate vicinity of the stadium, ensuring a smooth experience and helping to relieve traffic before and after games. Jean-Pascal Aribot, General Manager of Uber Switzerland: "We are very pleased to support FC Lugano as a mobility partner and to make getting to and from the AIL Arena as simple, efficient, and flexible as possible for fans. Through this partnership, we aim to make a concrete contribution to innovative and connected mobility for Ticino football."

Since 2010, Uber's mission has been to create new opportunities through movement.
