Anduril HQ was honored by the visit of Dr. Harold Cozen, a 100-year-old WWII veteran, representing one of the last of his generation. Dr. Harold Cozen enlisted in the US Army in December 1944. Stationed with Headquarters Company, Ordnance, on Iwo Jima in the Pacific Theater, he served as a Sergeant for 16 months and experienced ground combat on the island. His vivid recollections of landing on D+20, wading through the still-present obstacles and the lingering presence of Japanese holdouts on Mt. Suribachi, underscore the stark realities of war. As the grandfather of Anduril Employee Noah Bernstein, Dr. Cozen believes young Americans should understand the strength of national unity, a sentiment vital for facing today's challenges. Thank you for your service, Dr. Cozen, and the example you've set for generations that followed.
