I've heard good things mentioned in this sub regarding Camico. I'm particularly interested in the engagement letters they provide as I'm updating mine. The problem is that I called twice, someone answered and tried to connect me with a sales person who didn't answer. Each time the person said they would email the sales person to contact me. I also put in an online application. I've heard nothing. It concerns me that if the sales team isn't responsive, how responsive is their customer service after onboarding. Have others had issues getting a quote? Is this representative of their customer service? Also curious to hear how useful others have found their engagement letters.

  • “Bummer about the bad service on the sales side. I’ve been with CAMICO since I went solo in 2016 and have been really happy with them. Yeah their engagement letters are really long. I use them and explain to clients that it is because our tax code is so complicated. Everyone signs. As far as CAMICO goes, I have never filed a claim, but here is what they have helped me with: - a now former clien”

  • “Similar experience here. I got a quote online and was about to apply but had a few questions. I contacted the sales rep several weeks ago and have yet to receive a response. Now I'm hesitant to move forward.”

  • “I’ve used HISCOX and they’ve been absolutely fantastic. The reps are always really helpful and polite. Plus the policy is affordable.”

  • “I recently got a quote from them and they were very fast and then tried to follow up after I told them it was way more expensive than I'm currently paying with The Hartford.”
