I know a lot of people say it’s good to fill up your funnel with Meta and their main demographic seems pretty in line with mine (middle aged women in the US). Curious to know if you‘re finding success with it how much you’re spending a day, what your AOV is, and how it compares to meta. I have seen a few sales on it a day at very low spend (like $50/day) but by no means has my ROAS been anywhere near meta, although it’s been like 1.8-2 roas. I’ve spent about $500 so far on it. Not sure if it’s worth scaling or shutting down, but there’s much less data points and control over what you can do to optimize it, it seems. Or perhaps I need to dig in more.

  • “I was actually reading about this yesterday, trying to weigh up if it's worth trying. I found this article on Metorik's blog that basically says according to the research, you need to be able to hit 10 conversions a day to give a clear enough signal to the algorithm, so if your CAC is $50, you need to be able to spend $500 per day on it. I decided to leave it for the time being for my store, but n”

  • “At $50/day and ~$500 total you’re still in learning mode on AppLovin, so comparing ROAS to Meta like-for-like will feel harsh. Meta has years of your pixel + creative history; AppLovin needs volume and usually a cleaner creative pack aimed at their inventory. I’d keep it live only if two things are true: blended MER / contribution after ads isn’t getting worse, and you’re learning which creative”
