Apollo Go has received Dubai's first fully driverless testing permit from Roads and Transport Authority, enabling fully autonomous vehicles to operate on designated public roads without a human safety driver. Issued at the opening of Apollo Go Park in Dubai - Apollo Go’s first overseas operations and management hub - the permit paves the way for the launch of a fully autonomous commercial ride-hailing service in the emirate as early as the first quarter of 2026. The Park will coordinate day-to-day operations as the service scales. This milestone builds on the strategic cooperation agreement signed with the RTA in March 2025 and marks another step forward in Dubai’s smart mobility vision.
