The facility is located near the company's existing headquarters, approximately 12 miles outside Boston. The new building will consolidate operations currently housed at three nearby locations and expand its capabilities in advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, workforce training and research and development. Boston Dynamics anticipates creating 1,250 new jobs at the facility by 2033. "Boston Dynamics has called Waltham home for many years, and this expansion is a reflection of how fast our industry is moving," commented Amanda McMaster, Interim CEO of Boston Dynamics. "The investment gives our team the space and resources we need to launch our third robot platform this decade.
