TL;DR: I write this post as a warning to potential Carvana customers, based on my personal experience in attempting what seemed like a simple repair for my vehicle. The purchase process was great, but it just took a turn from there. If you do purchase there, document EVERYTHING. Take your OWN pictures of EVERYTHING when going through the purchase process and before accepting. Write down all details and dates of all correspondence with anyone regarding your car, and ensure that all claim tickets clearly indicate what work is being requested, and what parts are being talked about. Also, be aware that Carvana customer service does not have phone extensions or individual phone numbers for their representatives, so you are at the mercy of your representative actually calling you back if you wish to ever speak to them again. This is a LONG one. Basically what happened, in a few sentences is: I noted something that was wrong with my vehicle before I officially accepted it and drove off (cupholder bottom falling into the center console). Claim was submitted by the Carvana rep in person, and approved that night. SilverRock claim was denied because the first shop could only replace the console parts that were broken, and the claim said “repair” not “replace” Then spent over a month and a half attempting to get the claim changed with Carvana.
