Manolo Rodríguez Concentrix, a multinational specializing in customer service and technical support for large companies, has finally executed the collective layoff of 75 people at its A Coruña center, in Agrela, and, barely concluded that process, has opened a second employment regulation file (ERE) for another 79 workers, linked to another Microsoft campaign. If it goes ahead on the terms proposed by the company, both processes will mean the loss of 154 jobs in just a few weeks at facilities that had 387 employees at the start of the first file. The 75 affected by the first ERE have already received notification of their dismissal, effective from next July 31. The file, initially proposed for 80 people from the Microsoft CTS campaign, concluded with an agreement between the company and the majority of the union representation, comprising CIG, CCOO, and UGT, after seven meetings during the consultation period. CGT voted against it. The pact reduced the number of terminations from 80 to 75 and includes compensation of 31 days' salary per year worked, with a maximum of 24 monthly payments and a guaranteed minimum of 3,000 euros.
