We had the valuable opportunity recently to bring together Houston-based legacy Calpine and Constellation interns and employees for a firsthand look at how our facilities in Fairfield, Texas, are helping power communities and support regional growth. The group checked in on construction progress at Freestone Energy Center, where the site is preparing to support a new CyrusOne data center project adjacent to the facility. They also toured Pin Oak Creek Energy Center, a 460-MW, state of the art natural gas peaking facility that began commercial operation earlier this year. The day was capped off with a visit to Pleasant Hills Children's Home, where we learned more about the organization's important work serving children across Texas. The experience provided a meaningful reminder of the positive impact we can make across our communities beyond the reliable energy we produce.
