Documents for the second quarter showed that giants like Alphabet, Nvidia, and Tesla, along with funds such as Fidelity, BlackRock, and Founders Fund, accumulated positions valued at tens of billions of dollars. The information comes from documents institutional investors filed in August with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Most of the figures come from Form 13F, quarterly reports in which large investment managers detail the shares under their management and their market value. The positions correspond to June 30, 2026. In the cases of Alphabet, Peter Thiel, and Elon Musk, ownership percentages appear in Schedule 13G filings, used to report significant stakes in a class of shares. On the other hand, Tesla's data comes from its quarterly balance sheet. These documents act as a snapshot with some delay and do not reveal whether investors bought or sold securities after June 30 or how much they originally paid for them. The declared positions show the value of the shares at the end of the second quarter, but not necessarily the money each investor disbursed.
