Announced nearly a year ago, the collaboration between the two toy giants is taking shape: three audio board games at €24.99 are arriving in early September, just in time for back-to-school. Last October, Tonie, the king of audio story boxes, and Hasbro formalized a promising partnership. A year later, the promise is finally materializing on shelves: three board game classics will receive their adaptation in an interactive audio version. The best part is that there will be no need to know how to read to enjoy them. Specifically, three titles are enriching the Tonieplay range, the interactive game mode exclusive to the Toniebox 2 launched last year. The principle remains identical to what made the device successful: a figurine is placed on the cube, and the game is controlled entirely by voice and sound, without any screen. The story box acts as the game master: it sets the scene, arbitrates, and spares us from reading the rulebook. As with the rest of the interactive range, cards and other accessories complete the experience. The first to receive its audio adaptation, Monopoly: The Real Estate Race (ages 7+) adapts the game into 40-minute sessions, for confrontations with up to four players.
