Integrated testbeds are a crucial component of design iteration. They allow us to conduct active research as we develop current and future designs. The photo below is the quartz vacuum vessel of Tiny Merge, our new thermonuclear fusion testbed, consisting of a vacuum vessel, electromagnets, and capacitors. It operates in parallel with Polaris and Orion, providing a small-scale subsystem that allows us to iterate and validate ideas faster without relying solely on full-scale systems.
