This is the third Magnet designation for Saint Joseph Hospital. The hospital received the designation for the first time in 2017. In 2022, the ANCC introduced Magnet with Distinction to honor hospitals that go above and beyond the already rigorous standards of the Magnet Recognition Program. The distinction is reserved for hospitals that meet the highest levels of nursing excellence and quality patient care.
