Given the growing global challenges, it is increasingly necessary to encourage young people to have an entrepreneurial vision oriented towards social and environmental impact from their formative years. Teaching them to develop business models aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals not only boosts their creativity but also helps prepare new generations to lead with responsibility and purpose. In this regard, the alliance between non-profit organizations and private sector companies plays a key role by providing mentorship so that young people can develop projects with high transformative potential. A clear example is the alliance between KPMG Mexico and Enactus, who for more than 15 years have joined forces to encourage young students to manage business models with a social impact, through the annual Enactus National Competition, where innovative and purposeful projects are presented to build a more sustainable future.
