Lyft has appointed Michael Brous Chief Financial Officer, effective September 28, 2026 , succeeding Erin Brewer, who plans to retire and will remain an advisor through December 15 to support the transition. Brous has also held Lyft positions including Head of Strategy and Growth, Co-Head of Operations, and Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. Before Motivate, he worked at REQX Ventures, Versa Capital Management and Financo. Brewer joined Lyft in 2023. During her tenure as CFO, Lyft achieved GAAP profitability and generated more than $2 billion of free cash flow, according to the company.
