Waveguide manufacturing will determine AI display glasses' path to market. We're proud to have Scott Carden step into the role of Chief Operating Officer at Magic Leap and lead our work in this space. As we sharpen our focus on waveguide manufacturing and device integration, he will be leading the initiative to scale production and deliver Magic Leap’s waveguide cost and performance roadmap. This is where our expertise creates the most value across the AR ecosystem. The consumer market for AI display glasses depends on bringing the full display system down to a price that works within a wearable, affordable product. That requires a tricky combination: waveguides that deliver the optical performance consumers expect and a manufacturing process that can produce them efficiently at scale. https://lnkd.in/gNfQnecU
