This transaction will allow Novartis Austria to focus on its core business, particularly the research, development, and manufacture of innovative medicines. “The acquisition of such a prosperous and long-established pharmaceutical and life sciences park as the one in Kundl is a milestone in our company’s development. We are very pleased that Novartis has placed its trust in us to operate and further develop the site in the best interests of the companies based there, the employees, and the region,” said Martin Egger, CEO of the Innexis Group. “Innexis specializes in taking the pressure off pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies at our sites by handling site management for our clients and supporting them with specialized solutions in engineering and logistics - so they can focus on their core business.” In Kundl, Innexis plans to take over an area of approximately 264,000 m² comprising over 100 buildings, as well as the infrastructure and services. The research and production facilities themselves will remain the property of Novartis.
