The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. announced today that Christian Winward has been named chief information security officer. Winward joins PNC from FirstBank -- which became part of PNC earlier this year -- where he served as chief information officer and a member of the bank's senior leadership team. His career with FirstBank spanned more than 30 years, beginning as a teller and progressing through leadership roles across technology and project management. As CIO, he led the modernization of the bank's technology capabilities and supported the successful integration of FirstBank into PNC.
