Prediction Market Giant Polymarket Names Its First Finance Chief to Lead U.S. Push

Polymarket, the crypto-based prediction market platform, has appointed Warren Jenson as its first company-wide chief financial officer, according to Casino.org, as the company works to scale its regulated U.S. exchange and compete for market share it has so far ceded domestically. Jenson began the role this week, the company confirmed. Jenson has held senior finance roles at several major American corporations. He served as finance chief at Amazon during the 1990s, when the company was still primarily an online bookseller, and later held CFO positions at NBC, Delta Air Lines, and Electronic Arts. His most recent post was president and CFO of market-research firm Nielsen, which he left in January 2025. He also sits on the boards of Ripple, DigitalOcean, and Dropbox. Polymarket founder and CEO Shayne Coplan said in a statement, reported by the Wall Street Journal, that the company was assembling a leadership team to match the scale of opportunity ahead. Jenson will oversee all financial operations, set capital strategy, and guide the company's long-range planning. He reports directly to Coplan.
