Scanlon has spent nearly two decades with Publix, beginning her career in 2007 as a floating pharmacist in Sandy Springs, Georgia. She quickly advanced through roles including assistant pharmacy manager, pharmacy manager and clinical pharmacist. Scanlon later served as director of central and specialty pharmacy beginning in 2018, and in 2020 was named senior director of pharmacy administration - a role she has held most recently. Scanlon is also a recipient of the 2023 President's Award, one of Publix's most prestigious honors recognizing leaders who champion a culture of inclusion, foster belonging and support the development and advancement of associates.
