At its 12th annual Roblox Developers Conference (RDC 2026), Roblox has announced a broad set of platform updates aimed at lowering the barriers to game development while expanding the reach of experiences beyond its traditional app-based ecosystem. The announcements come as the company marks its 20th anniversary and are centred around what Roblox describes as “more play, more building, and more growth.” A key part of the announcement is “Roblox Everywhere”, an initiative that will allow creators to release their games as standalone apps across mobile, PC and consoles, with Roblox providing the underlying technology and infrastructure.
