We have a request for https://create.roblox.com/landing Roblox Creator / Studio for a programming class at the high school. Not sure how I feel about privacy concerns around this. Students would need to create an account etc. but I’m not certain what that all provides them. It is Roblox after all. Anyone else using this in your environment and in class?

  • [comment u/slayermcb] I wouldn't put anything with the name roblox near my school. Even if it were an entirely enclosed ecosystem the name is getting some well deserved recognition for all the wrong reasons. Optics would not be good.

  • [comment u/K12onReddit] We used to do that in our game development class. We banned all Roblox last year after multiple lawsuits about grooming and sexual assaults.
