STERIS's project in Lee County will include more than $600 million in capital investment and will create at least 335 full-time jobs with a median salary of $68,704. STERIS operates in more than 35 countries, employing more than 18,000 people at approximately 250 locations. Through NCRR Invests, the North Carolina Railroad Company uses private revenue, not taxpayer dollars, to fund rail projects that attract new employers and expand existing industry to keep North Carolina competitive.
