The new pediatric center is planned for an existing office building at 80 Iron Point Circle and will include 10 exam rooms and one treatment room. The project represents another piece of a much larger expansion by Sutter Health in Folsom and along the Highway 50 corridor, where the health system has been investing in additional primary, specialty and outpatient medical services. The pediatric investment comes as Sutter Medical Group is also recruiting additional pediatricians for its Folsom practice, as originally reported by the Sacramento Business Journal. The expansion follows Sutter’s previously announced plans to increase access to pediatric and primary care appointments in Folsom as the community and surrounding Highway 50 corridor continue to grow.
