At Gamescom 2026, Ubisoft announced the soft launch of The Player Council, a new platform where players can be part of the PC game development process by connecting with developers directly. Participating players will be able to discover and weigh in on games at various stages of development, including new game concepts and prototypes as well as evolving experiences for existing games on PC. The Player Council gives players valuable insight into the development process and unprecedented access to shape a game in its earliest stages. At the soft launch, four projects will be part of The Player Council: Riders Republic, Atomega, Codename Split Point, and Codename Rook.
