I’m setting up a NAS for a small dental office and would appreciate some advice. My main goals are:Full backup of a Windows ServerDentrix backup/data backupFile backup and storagePrivate cloud/remote file accessAutomatic scheduled backupsRAID 1/SHR with 2 × 8TB drivesI’m currently considering the Synology DS225+ and DS725+.Would the DS225+ be enough for this setup, or is it worth spending more for the DS725+ for better performance, ECC RAM, and future expansion?I’m also considering WD Red Plus 8TB vs Synology 8TB drives. Which drives would you recommend for reliability and compatibility? This will be used in a business environment, so reliability and easy recovery are more important to me than maximum performance. Thanks!
