US-based Wynn Resorts has invested more than $1 billion in the development of its landmark Wynn Al Marjan Island project in Ras Al Khaimah, reaffirming its commitment to what will become the UAE's first integrated resort with gaming facilities. The company said it contributed an additional $48.1 million during the second quarter of 2026 to the 40%-owned joint venture developing the project, taking its cumulative investment to $1.06 billion. Construction continues to progress on schedule, with Wynn Al Marjan Island expected to open in September 2027, marking a major milestone for both the company and the UAE's rapidly expanding tourism and hospitality sector.
