Chrome extension on Windows - passkeys

I use the Chrome 1Password extension - have had it for many months and have been really happy with it. I'm a Salesforce consultant, and since Salesforce recently started requiring passkeys for admin users, I've been using 1Password for those passkeys. For a month or two, that worked great, but lately (I *think* since the last update to the Chrome extension), 1Password has been working fine for the initial login (username and, when needed, password), but when it displays Salesforce's passkey prompt, it just sits and sits. After a while, I get impatient and refresh the page once or twice, and eventually it usually pops up something that asks if I want to continue with a passkey, after which it pops up the Windows Hello dialog and I can get it. It's just royally slow, and it's very annoying to have to wait over a minute to be able to use a passkey. On the same PC, I have the 1Password browser extension on Firefox and Island, and they don't have the problem. I've compared my Chrome Settings and extension settings with a co-worker's, and I don't see anything problematic there. Has anyone else had this problem? Have you been able to find any solution?
