American Airlines has introduced its first retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, bringing the airline’s Flagship Suite experience to the aircraft and adding more Business and Premium Economy seats. The redesigned aircraft features 70 Flagship Suite seats with privacy doors, 44 Premium Economy seats and 30 Main Cabin Extra seats, offering 144 premium seats in total. The new configuration also significantly increases premium seating onboard. Before the retrofit, American’s 777-300ERs carried eight First Class seats, 52 Business Class seats and 28 Premium Economy seats. The updated aircraft removes the eight-seat First Class cabin while adding 18 Business Class seats and 16 Premium Economy seats. Economy capacity remains the same with 216 seats...
