CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio - Pickaway County's job placement agency is gearing up to help fill 110 technician positions that Anduril Industries plans to hire by the end of the year, according to a report given to county commissioners. Nick Tatman, director of Pickaway County Job and Family Services, told commissioners Aug. 18 that OhioMeansJobs expects to run about 420 candidate assessments to reach that hiring goal for Anduril's Arsenal-1 facility near Rickenbacker. The effort, described as Phase 1 of the hiring push, will run from September through January, according to the report. Tatman's update came during a regular commissioners' session that also touched on unemployment figures and other job-placement activity.
