Any advisors out there using Portfolio Connect through Schwab? I'm currently with Advyzon and mainly use them for performance reporting and fee invoicing but I think their performance reporting and client portal have some room for improvement. If you are using Portfolio Connect, I'd be interested in hearing your experience. Thanks.

  • [comment u/Never_Stop_Stopping] We use it. Perfectly sufficient for basic performance and billing. Has the best cost of any program out there.

  • [comment u/winning_bigly_] It blows for billing. Major issue - you can't bill a Roth's fee share to a taxable account without over-billing traditional IRA's. So, we use Altruist for Schwab billing.

  • “We use it alongside a few other tools and it does the job for basic performance reporting, not amazing but functional. The client portal side is where it falls a little flat compared to what you'd get from something more specialized like Advyzon. If you're just looking for something simpler and already in the Schwab ecosystem it might be worth a look, but don't expect it to blow you away”

  • “It’s basic but we pair it with Kwanti for reporting, and Wealthbox for CRM. Comes in way cheaper than any other combo software.”

  • “Great for billing, meh for reports. $100M AUM”
