Highlighted: the lines this signal was extracted from

Anyone else receive a collection agency letter from Aspen Dental? I haven’t been to that office in years, I am going to say 8 years ago. And don’t recall having a balance. Anyone else have this happen? I’m disputing the letter but isn’t there a statute of limitations on this stuff. I also tried to login to my old Cigna Dental to research an EOB and can’t login from that long ago.

Comments on the post

  • “This is most likely uncollectible debt even if it was once valid. First, look up the statute of limitations for this type of debt in your state. It most likely expired. Second, learn how to write a debt validation letter. Third, send the debt validation letter with the addition that the statute of limitations has expired.”
