Deel has acquired AI cybersecurity company Clarity as businesses face growing risks from identity fraud, deepfakes and impersonation during recruitment and employment, the company said on August 3. The acquisition is aimed at extending identity verification and fraud detection beyond hiring into employee onboarding and day-to-day workforce access management. Clarity specialises in identity verification, deepfake detection and fraud prevention.
