Fever, a Spanish technology platform specializing in leisure and entertainment, has reached a valuation of over 4.5 billion euros in the sale of the 5% stake that Atresmedia held in the group to British private equity firm Vitruvian Partners for 227 million euros. The share purchase agreement between Atresmedia and Vitruvian comes as Fever is about to announce a new financing round in which, according to market sources, Swedish private equity firm EQT will participate. The amount of the new financing round, according to one of the sources, could be around 200 million euros. Other prominent shareholders of Fever include Goldman Sachs, through one of the investment funds managed by the firm, and L Catterton, the private equity firm of the LVMH group, among others. Fever already completed two significant financing rounds in 2022 and 2025. In the first of these, it raised 200 million euros and exceeded a valuation of 1 billion euros. In the second, the valuation was around 3 billion euros. According to the consulted sources, the company has considered going public, although for now it has preferred to raise capital through a new financing round. Fever could resume these plans later.
