The mergers and acquisitions market in Mexico reported 14 operations in July, matching January as the months with the most activity so far this year, according to a report by Seale & Associates. The number of announced transactions surpassed the 11 in June and the 8 in July 2025, the global investment bank noted in its monthly report. From January to July, 82 operations were reported. Of these transactions, the most relevant is that of Equifax, which announced the signing of an agreement to acquire Círculo de Crédito, one of the credit information companies operating in Mexico. The operation is valued at 750 million dollars, and the sellers are Banca Afirme, Coppel, Grupo Elektra, and other investors. For Seale, this operation is a sign of the attractiveness of the financial sector. Until now, January had been the month with the most activity in the market, also with 14 announced operations. If the period between July 2025 and July of this year is considered, December remains the month with the most transactions, with 19.
