ASHEVILLE - HCA Healthcare is investing more than $32 million across Mission Health facilities in Western North Carolina to strengthen the safety, quality, and capabilities of care for patients throughout the region. The investment includes nearly $15 million for imaging and diagnostic technology and more than $13 million for surgical, cardiovascular and procedural care, along with investments in emergency transportation, hospital infrastructure and other patient care resources. “Investing in our hospitals means investing in the health of Western North Carolina,” said Greg Lowe, President of Mission Health. “These investments give our physicians, nurses and care teams advanced equipment and technology to support safe, high-quality care - from diagnostic imaging and surgery to emergency response.
