The quadruped, the size of a Saint Bernard, is impressive. With a black coat and prominent mechanisms, RX-1, the first robot developed by Helsing, takes a few powerful steps in the premises of the European defense start-up's Parisian office. On the side of the robot, one can read 'Area 9', the name given to Helsing's research division, its internal incubator, located in anonymized premises in the center of Paris.
