FLINT, Mich. - Kroger is partnering with TV5 to collect school supplies and non-perishable food for Mid-Michigan families during a "Stuff the Bus" drive Wednesday at multiple locations across the area. Collection sites include Kroger stores in Fenton, Flushing, Flint Township, Flint, Saginaw Township, Bridgeport, Frankenmuth, and Midland. Among the items being collected are cereal, peanut butter, fruit bars, tissues, paper, glue, and crayons. Kroger employees contributed $500 to start the drive. Store Manager Nicole Draper said many of the needed items are available at low prices. "So a lot of stuff that we need to take is a lot of back to school items. I mean, a lot of the items that we are really, really cheap and really, really good cost on is the cereal prices. We can get cereal so cheap, and if everybody can just help out with that, that'd be great because we have cereal all over my store right now," Draper said. Donations are being accepted at eight Kroger locations across mid Michigan.
